A new take on digital connection.
No more algorithms, no more mindless consumption.
A place for art and creativity to truly come together.
We believe that sharing art and creative work digitally shouldn't be subjected to a ranking algorithm, or to metrics such as likes or followers. Putting yourself out there is meaningful, and can be scary, especially when it comes to things you care about.
We want to make it easier for people to share their work with others in a more organic and centered way, as well as provide people with a place to go to learn about the other creators in their area.
To find a healthy balance of consumption that fuels creative output instead of dampening it.
We all know we are addicted to technology, and sometimes it feels like there is nothing we can do about it. Our desire to be seen and connected with each other has been taken advantage of through the artificial connectivity approach that existing tech corporations have created.
We would love to hear input from all people who visit this site. This isn't a big company or a corporation with profit based goals.
We are a group of friends and creators who want to help foster a digital age that helps people actually connect with each other.
Homara will never have ads, or try and drive engagement for the sake of selling your data.
Our plan for Homara is much greater than just a website. In the coming months we will be releasing a desktop app that will function as the full version of our project. Anyone will be able to create their own point cloud community and share it with their friends, for as low of a cost possible.
The app will allow for livestreams, so you can share and archive live shows or performances digitally, receive donations or tips on your page, or embed and show friends your own website.
Eventually, we will use the Homara app to provide information about real world pop up events for creators and members in our Flagship cities.
With your help we want to help turn these digital interactions into real-life connection through our events, creating a safe place where members of creative communities can truly come together.
